July 19th - Light and Reflection

 Chayla was intrigued by her multiple reflections in the angled mirrors.

When we joined in our morning meeting, I placed a led light and the children asked questions about the multiple shadows they were doing with their hands.

 They tried translucent, reflective, transparent and opaque materials in front 

of the light. 

 The children got inspired when I placed a branch inside a pipe.

 Marny saw one of the branches breaking and was trying to fix it.

 The children were intentional in their work of building a water track.
