June 23rd - First day of Camp
"Getting To Know Each Other"

Marny was captivated by the water beads.
She spent time scooping and pouring them. |

Yakir along with his mom and sister,
were helpful cutting the apples for the class this morning. |

Marnie enjoyed the apples!

Eli Sheva led tefillah and Chaya'la helped her sing the songs and pass the torahtot along with Marnie. |
 |
Tzemach, Yakir, Chaya'la and I played animals together. We created different habitats for them. |
 |
Yakir explored magnets with pipe cleaners and bells in the water.

Tzemach used the magnetic wands to clean up the pipe cleaners.
|
 |
Chaya'la and Tzemach helped each other draw pictures of cupcakes and chicken nuggets/chocolate, and practiced cutting them.

Yakir focused on reading a book to a baby, he made sure the baby was paying attention. |
 |
All the children went outside to color with chalk. |
Chaya'la, Tzemach, Yakir and I had a conversation about the berries that are growing on the tree behind our classroom. Tzemach said that they look like blueberries, Chaya'la said that there were green and blue ones, but she liked the blue better. Yakir Picked the blue ones and counted them with me, he thought they felt funny on his hand.
What an incredible day, I can't wait to see them tomorrow!
